Signing of IDEATION memorandums with sports organizations

Understanding (MoU) with local and regional sports organizations has begun. These agreements mark a significant step forward in ensuring the continuity of the project’s results even after the official project period ends. The memorandums are designed to establish collaboration between IDEATION project partners and sports organizations that aim to implement Circular Economy (CE) principles in their operations. By signing the MoUs, organizations commit to continuing IDEATION activities by adopting the methods and strategies developed during the project, including the “Hands-On” practical implementation toolkit.

Two organizations from Lithuania have signed Memorandums of Understanding with the IDEATION project.

The Lithuanian Sports Committee for the Deaf, by signing the memorandum, will gain the opportunity to integrate Circular Design principles, such as waste reduction and energy efficiency, into its operations. This will strengthen the organization’s sustainability image and foster community engagement, contributing to social change.

The VŠĮ Vaikų paplūdimio tinklinio mokymo centras, by signing the memorandum, will have access to the IDEATION project’s methods and strategies, which will help efficiently use available resources and promote environmental initiatives. This will enhance the competencies of the organization’s members and expand the network of sustainability-focused partners.

These organizations also commit to promoting sustainability in the sports sector by applying Circular Design (CD) principles. This includes waste reduction, energy optimization, and enhancing community engagement. Furthermore, they commit to expanding the project’s outcomes by sharing best practices with other organizations and involving more stakeholders. This collaboration will ensure the long-term impact of the IDEATION project’s results, maintain strong connections between project partners and sports organizations, and foster new initiatives based on IDEATION methods and achievements.

Sports organizations are vital parts of the community with significant potential to drive social change. Through the signing of MoUs, the IDEATION project provides them with the opportunity to become leaders in sustainability while enhancing their operational efficiency and engaging communities in sustainable development. We believe this process will serve as an example of how an international project can inspire meaningful changes at local and regional levels.
